Shipping & Returns

Akari orders shipping within the United States are delivered via UPS. The 120A and 125F models of Akari ship via FedEx. A signature for delivery is required for orders over $700.

Online orders are not currently available for pick-up. Orders shipping within the five boroughs of New York City can be delivered via messenger. If you select this option during checkout we will contact you to schedule a delivery date. 

Akari orders shipping to Canada or Mexico are sent via DHL. Tax and Duty are included in the price of shipping. You may be required to provide information to customs before your package can be delivered. 

Please note that we can not ship to P.O. boxes or to freight forwarding businesses. 

Prismatic Tables ship within the U.S. via UPS and to Canada and Mexico via DHL. 

All other furniture ships within the U.S. only. Furniture is made to order and ships directly from the manufacturer (Herman Miller, Knoll, or Vitra) in 6 to 10 weeks. 

Prints and publications shipping within the United States are sent via UPS or USPS. 

Prints and publications shipping within Canada or Mexico ship via DHL, but can also be shipped with UPS, FedEx, or Canada Post if you let us know your preference. 

Prints and publications can be shipped internationally. Contact us by email (akari@noguchi.org) if you’d like to place an order shipping outside of the U.S., Canada, or Mexico. 

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us at akari@noguchi.org as soon as possible and do not throw away any packaging or assemble the product. In order to process a claim with the carrier, we will need photographs of the following:

• Damaged merchandise inside the box displayed as it arrived to you
• Packaging material used (bubble wrap, paper, etc.)
• Damaged item removed from the shipping box
• A close-up of the shipping label with tracking number
• If available, a close-up of the box manufacturer's information
• 1 photo displaying the top and 2 sides
• 1 photo displaying the bottom and the opposite sides

If there appears to be damage to your item that is not related to shipping, send us an email with a description and documentation of the damage.

General

The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Akari

We accept returns of Akari within 30 days of delivery. They must be in unused and undamaged condition, with all of the original parts and packaging intact. There must not be any damage to or tape applied to the product box. The product box must be packed within a separate shipping box and padded with appropriate materials (bubble wrap, crumpled packing paper, etc.) when being shipped back to us. Returned items that do not meet this criteria may be refused or may result in a restocking fee of up to 25% being applied to your refund. 

Please note that we do not offer refunds on Akari that were damaged during assembly. 

Prints and Publications

Prints and Publications may be returned within 30 days of delivery. They must be in unused and undamaged condition. 

Furniture

Prismatic Tables may be returned within 30 days of delivery if in unused and undamaged condition. 

Other furniture items are final sale. You may only cancel a furniture order within 3 days of order placement.
