The Rudder Table, designed by Isamu Noguchi, was part of a series of Rudder works created in the 1940s, along with a dining table and stool. Beginning in 1949, Herman Miller produced the table for two years, before reintroducing it in 2013. It features a wooden top in white ash, walnut, or ebony-stained maple, two trivalent chrome hairpin legs and a third wood leg, in the abstracted form of a rudder.
